Citrus Heights

Citrus Heights is a newly incorporated city governed by a five-member
City Council. It has twenty parks with swimming pools, tennis courts, as
well as a rose garden within the community. All you need to do is hop on
your bike and ride along the many miles of bike trails until you reach the
nearest park.
If shopping is your pastime, you will love Sunrise Mall, Birdcage Walk,
and the many other smaller shopping areas throughout Citrus Heights.
Family restaurants, health food stores and lots of discount shopping areas
are available.
Citrus Heights is in the San Juan School District which has been
recognized as one of the best school districts in the nation by Money
Magazine.
Many styles of homes and price ranges are available here. There are older
areas with established trees and landscaping. Citrus Heights has the
highest housing density in the area which is crisscrossed with wooded
streams. Many homes sit among gently rolling hills.
Citrus Heights is centrally located so that travel on Highway 50 or 80 is
just a few minutes away. Residents appreciate the
location -- everything is convenient. The American
River, Folsom Lake, and the American River Parkway are next door
neighbors. The easy freeway access allows residents to be on their way to
the mountains, Delta, or Bay Area.
